Calling all Queer People of COLOR Creatives! Genre: Urban Arts seeks to give Black and Brown Queer perspectives a space to be vocal with your artistic medium, wherever it falls on the spectrum. Our goal is to highlight voices of the LGBTQ+ community that often go unheard or are misunderstood. Come join us in illuminating the readers' experience in an artful way! We want to hear what YOU have to say! Spread the word.

 A portion of the proceeds from this project will be donated to organizations that support LBGTQ communities in Milwaukee, WI and New York City.
Rules For Submitting:
 

• Do you Identify as/ is your skin Brown/Black?
• You must be QUEER/LGBTQ+
  
  NO SIMULTANEOUS SUBMISSIONS
  
  Original and unpublished worked may be submitted to our Queer People of Color Anthology.
  Nonfiction or Creative Nonfiction 500 words or fewer
  Poetry
   2-4 poems with 50 lines or fewer

   500 words or fewer
